Hello! My name is Cécile
My love for exercise started during childhood. As a child in France, I competed in gymnastics at a national level for over 15 years, winning the French Championship twice. When an injury forced me to take a break, I began coaching young gymnasts and focused on completing my studies in Hospitality Management.
After a stint working in London, I moved to Hong Kong and spent eight years in the city's corporate world. I fully understand how today’s busy lifestyles can mean health and fitness get put on the back burner. Life in Hong Kong moves at 100 miles per hour. With long work and family days, early-morning commutes or school runs, back-to-back meetings and hectic travel schedules, it can be hard to find time in the day for yourself. But success in all areas of life comes down to how we treat ourselves physically and mentally.
Following a hip surgery that left me crushed for months and required a year of healing, through yoga and a lot of physiotherapy I steadily started reconnecting with my body and was able to make a full recovery. There’s nothing like an injury to make you appreciate your health and body and I committed to doing at least four hours of physical activity per week from then on. Regular exercise really helped me to cope with the hectic Hong Kong lifestyle and enabled me to feel good with my mind and body again.
Deciding to take my passion for sports to the next level, I left the corporate world. I founded Fit & Flex to help women who struggle to find time for the gym, who have lost their motivation or want to get back into exercise after a long break – because I know how that feels. I believe exercise is for you, not anyone else or how they think you should look. With an encouraging coaching approach, customised programmes and sessions that work around your schedule, I’ll help you meet your health and fitness goals in a way that works for you.
